A grown-up can optionally choose an age band and familiar activities, then choose a friend. Start with small groups of carrots if numbers are new. Age is only a guide; adjust the starting point in Settings.

Repeat number-play stages 1–5 for free. Stages 6–49 require the one-time Full Number Play purchase, with no auto-renewal. Learning progress still opens stages gradually. Playground and friend/accessory rewards keep their existing play rules. Check the price on the App Store purchase screen.

Use the Apple Account that made the purchase. Open Home → Settings → Check access / Restore purchases → grown-up check → Restore purchases. Owners can also reach Restore through the grown-up check. An internet connection is required.

Progress, friends and currencies currently stay on each device and do not sync automatically. An existing purchase can be restored with the same Apple Account; this does not copy learning records between devices.

Check voice, music and effects separately in Settings, along with device volume and connected headphones or speakers. Choose adult female or adult male narration. Shape and piece activities use visual instructions and effects. Audio stops when you switch away from the app or lock the screen.

Restart Learning resets learning progress and keeps friends, outfits, carrots, diamonds and growth. Erase All Game Data is a separate option for deleting game records. Neither option cancels a purchased entitlement.

Earn carrots through play for colors and some outfits. Goal rewards provide diamonds for new animal friends. Growth gifts open as a friend levels up, with a special outfit at level 30. Carrots and diamonds are not sold for real money.

A grown-up can email the app version, device, iOS or iPadOS version and reproduction steps to support@rootcarrot.com. Do not send child personal information or Apple Account passwords. Email links open your mail app without sending automatically.
