ROOTCARROT · NUMBER PLAY
Privacy policy
rootmath · Last updated 2026-10-27
Scope
This policy describes Rootcarrot's current rootmath app, called 열두 동물 숫자놀이터 in Korean. App learning records and website visit information are handled separately. Effective and last updated: October 27, 2026.
Information stored on your device
The app stores selected animals, colors and outfits; carrots, diamonds, growth and reward history; learning progress, answers and help use; question counts; and audio and language settings on your device. Optional age band and familiar-activity choices help suggest a comfortable starting point and next activity. The app does not ask for a child's name, exact birth date, age in months or email address. A reference used to reduce duplicate date rewards also stays on the device.
Collection, transmission and permissions
Learning and game records are not sent to a developer server. There is no app account, sign-in, advertising, third-party analytics or tracking. The app does not request contacts, location, camera, microphone or photo-library access. Automatic cross-device progress sync is not currently available. Data included in your Apple device backups is subject to your backup settings and Apple's policies.
Narration, music and effects
Narration uses bundled audio files, with device speech synthesis when a required clip is unavailable. The app does not record your child's voice or send learning content to a voice-generation service during use. Music and effects are generated in the app. Each audio option can be turned off separately.
Apple purchases and restoration
Full Number Play is a one-time, non-consumable App Store purchase. The app uses Apple-verified transactions to determine access. Apple StoreKit handles purchases and restoration. We do not receive or store payment-card details or Apple Account passwords. Apple-provided sales and financial reports may be used for operation and legal obligations. Apple's transaction processing and retention follow Apple's policies. Deleting game data or the app does not cancel or refund a purchase.
Grown-up sharing
External sharing is available only after a grown-up check. Shared content is an app introduction card or configured installation link, without a child's name, photo or learning records. The selected messaging or social app handles the shared content under its own policy. We do not read contacts or track a recipient's installation or a post's visibility. Sharing-reward status stays on the device. Friend invitations are disabled in the current version because no installation link is configured.
Retention, deletion and choices
Local game records remain while you use the app. Restart Learning resets learning progress while keeping friends, items, currencies and growth. Erase All Game Data deletes game records after the grown-up check. A local reference to reduce duplicate date rewards may remain after reset. Removing the app removes its local app data; manage Apple backups separately. Purchase rights remain associated with the App Store transaction history.
Support email and website visits
If a grown-up emails support@rootcarrot.com, we use their email address and information they choose to provide to respond and resolve the issue. Unnecessary inquiry information is deleted after handling, except where retention is required by law. Email providers process mail delivery and storage. Do not send unnecessary child details, photos, learning records, passwords or card information. When you visit this support website, its hosting provider may process basic connection information such as an IP address. This is separate from the app's local learning records. See the website privacy link below.
